There are 3 easy ways to add Google AdSense Ad Unit in your blog.
In this blogger tutorial I will explain you step-by-step procedure to include Google AdSense unit to your blogger blog. Follow these instructions carefully

In this tutorial I also explain how to add Google Affiliate Network ads to your blogger blog

This item assumes that you are using a perfect classic template.  You can easily add a AdSense Page Element to you sidebar for layouts enables blogs or for a desired location you can drag an existing element.  If you are new or not well known about the AdSense with making modifications to your blog’s template, for placing AdSense code in your blog’s sidebar you can follow these instructions.  Taking that you have already signed up and been approved for a Google AdSense account, you should be able to log in here.  After signing in, click the AdSense Settings Tab near the top of the page.  Please focus on the following steps:

1 Choosing the Ad Layout which sets in your sidebar. Choose the best ad layouts from one of the following:
2 Button – 125 x 125
3 Skyscraper – 120 x 600
4 Wide Skyscraper – 160 x 600
5 Vertical Banner – 120 x 240
6 Small Rectangle 180 x 150
7 Choosing Color Palette: Even though they are creatively named, it’s your preference to choose the right Palette.
8 Copying the AdSense Code: There’s a box at the bottom of the page with code in it.  Select that code and copy it.
9 Paste the Code: Temporarily paste the code somewhere in the notepad or WordPad.
10 Sign in – Blogger.com: Select the blog you prefer to put ads and click the template tag.
11 Copy the entire blogger template and save it in WordPad or notepad.
12 Search the place in your template which says this by scrolling down pretty far:
13 <!- -Begin#sidebar- -> <div id=”sidebar”> <div id=”sidebar2”>
14 Paste the AdSense code which you have saved earlier.
15 <!- -Begin#sidebar- ->
16 <div id=”sidebar”> <div id=”sidebar2”> Put your AdSense Code Here!!
17 Save and Republish your template changes for your blog.
How to put Google Affiliate Network Links in your Blog’s Sidebar
If you are a new one or not well known about the Google Affiliate Network with making modifications to your blog’s template, to place the Google Affiliate Network links in your blog’s sidebar you can follow the instructions.  When you once signed up and got approval for a Google Affiliate Network account and you can sign in to view your account.  After signing up, click the links tab near the top of the page.  Select which advertiser’s links you want to work with and then follow these steps:
1 Choose your Links: Click Get Links in the Action drop down menu next to the advertiser’s name.  Click either the Text links or the Image links tab to view your options in each category.  Its best to choose one of the following dimension for an image link to fit ads in your sidebar.
2 Button – 125 x 125
3 Skyscraper – 120 x 600
4 Wide Skyscraper – 160 x 600
5 Vertical Banner – 120 x 240
6 Small Rectangle – 180 x 150
7 Copy the Affiliate link HTML: Below your desired link, click Get HTML.  A box with code in it will appear.  Select the code, then copy and pate it in Notepad or WordPad.
8 Sign in – Blogger.com: Select the blog you prefer to put ads and click the template tag.
9 Find the place in your template for the code below: <!- – Begin#sidebar- -> <div id=”sidebar”> <div id=”sidebar2”>
10 Paste the Affiliate link HTML you saved earlier.  Right below that place in the template.
11 <!- -Begin#sidebar- ->
12 <div id-“sidebar”> <div id = “sidebar2”> Put your Affiliate Link HTML Here!!!
13 Save and Republish your template changes for your blog.
